The Association

The club was started in 2003 by a bunch of enthusiasts who felt that Denmark needed a forum for all the fantastic. This eventually turned into the club Fantastik. This belief is proven by the rising number of members in the club and the huge number of events taking place.

Even though the club has an elected board and other committees, the ordinary members are able to get their ideas realised without asking permission. Many of the events in the club consist of evening meetings where a movie is shown or discussions are made, and a lot of these events follow an initiative of one of the members. See all planned events in the calendar (only in Danish currently).

The club is based on various interest groups where members communicate about their interests, and it is also here that many events and ideas are created. Members can always create new interest groups.

Himmelskibet (which translates into "The Sky Ship") is the members' magazine, and is issued four times a year. The articles are written by members, and the editor encourages everybody to send in all kinds of articles and reviews etc. Subscription is included in the membership.
